The big plan

For my first big journey I want to cycle across Germany (my home country). I’ve selected a route from the geographically southernmost point to the northernmost along rivers and through parts of Germany that I don’t know too well yet.

The starting point is the Grenzstein 147 at the border to Austria near Oberstdorf. My goal is to reach the lighthouse at the tip of the island Sylt with my own muscle power (except for ferries). For everything in between we shall see how close I can stick to my plan.

I want to focus on the different aspects of nature and landscapes, that I come across. As I can update this blog from my phone, I hope to be able to keep this blog up to date.

Der große Plan

Auf meiner ersten großen Reise will ich mit dem Fahrrad quer durch mein Heimatland Deutschland fahren. Dafür habe ich mir eine Strecke vom südlichsten zum nördlichsten Punkt Deutschlands entlang von Flüssen und durch mir nur wenig bekannte Regionen ausgesucht.

Der Startpunkt ist der Grenzstein 147 an der Grenze zu Österreich in der Nähe von Oberstdorf. Mein Ziel ist es den Leuchtturm auf Sylt aus eigener Muskelkraft zu erreichen (ausgenommen Fähren). Auf dem Weg dazwischen wird sich zeigen wie genau ich bei meinem Plan bleiben kann.

Ich will mich unterwegs auf die vielen verschiedenen Landschaften und Facetten der Natur konzentrieren. Da ich diesen Blog von meinem Handy aus bearbeiten kann hoffe ich diesen Blog aktuell halten zu können.
